· Generali Italia’s Global Corporate & Commercial wins the European tender for P&C policy

· Tender conducted with Aon as advisor

 

Milan. Through Global Corporate & Commercial, the international business unit dedicated to non-life insurance for large companies, Generali Italia has won the European tender to provide P&C insurance cover to Expo Milano 2015, the Universal Exposition, which will be held in the Lombardy capital from 1 May to 31 October next year.

Expo 2015 S.p.A. was advised by Aon in creating and developing the solutions needed to provide insurance cover for the exhibition.

The Generali Italia policy covers property damage, to works and content, and civil liability during the construction phases, during the exhibition and for the next ten years following the creation of the work. To ensure a prompt response in the event of a claim, a multilingual help desk will be set up in the exhibition area, managed by experts from Generali Group company Europ Assistance, one of the world leaders in private care, which operates in 208 countries worldwide through 425,000 assistance centres.
