Meet us at the 2017 IBIS Academy on 1-5 May in Cannes!
The IBIS Academy is a three-track event run by Arthur J Gallagher & Co.'s Multinational Benefits and HR Consulting Practice. Global HR and benefits professionals are presented with knowledge and resources on international pensions and employee benefits in markets around the world.
GEB will participate in two of the main tracks to contribute to providing attendees with education, leadership discussions, and networking opportunities.
Where to find us:
- IBIS Institute: a 4.5 day international benefits immersion course which covers fundamental and advanced topics. Sven Roelandt, GEB Regional Manager for Western Europe, Middle East and Africa, will intervene in the renown Pooling Panel on May 4, with three sessions running in the afternoon and covering from the basics of pooling to different types of international programmes available, and to how to select the best one and the best network provider for your company.
- IBIS Mobility track: GEB will sponsor this newly established track dedicated to the specific challenges of managing mobile employees. We look forward to sharing insights on global mobility during the panel “Ensuring assignment success: the role of your employee benefits and tax strategy” that will be held on May 4 at 10.00 am. This session will explore the impact that mobility has on benefits and tax strategies within an organization. We will discuss how to identify what works best for the company and the employee in the short and the long term, by taking into account elements such as: coordination among countries of origin and countries of destination; regulation developments; compliance; pensions challenges; and overall how to translate benefits propositions across countries that may have different practices and standards.
