Generali UK Wellbeing Hub

Generali Employee Benefits UK has launched an easy-to-use, DIY communications portal, giving clients and intermediaries the opportunity to produce bespoke wellbeing material – from information leaflets and posters to wallet cards and presentation folders.

The Wellbeing Communications Hub has been designed to help clients build employee awareness of the provider’s many added value wellbeing services, available as standard on its UK Group Life and Group Income Protection products.

This, in turn, aims to help maximise the use of these early intervention and rehabilitation services – improving employee engagement and loyalty whilst reducing absence and associated costs.

The hub enables HR, Compensation & Benefits Professionals or intermediaries to design and download completely free of charge digital (.PDF) materials for email or intranet distribution.

In addition, professionally printed hardcopy versions are available at a reasonable cost from Generali’s print partner Total Office.

A recent survey* found that although UK companies hadn’t made notable changes to the wellbeing benefits on offer, nearly half (46%) reported their organisation’s focus on wellbeing had increased and “improving communications” was key in this regard.

“It stands to reason that if employees are aware of what wellbeing services are available from their employer, they’re more likely to make use of them. This helps build brand engagement and loyalty whilst reducing absence, claims and, ultimately, costs,” says Simon Thomas, Head of Employee Benefits & Life Division, Generali UK Branch. “We offer a vast array of added-value benefits and services to our Group Life and Group Income Protection clients – from Employee Assistance Programmes, Best Doctors and Eldercare Support Services through to specialist independent support from experts in mental health, musculoskeletal conditions, cancer, chronic fatigue and pain. We want to help our clients make full use of all of these valuable services.”
